At Aroma de Cafe Antojitos, the fact that you can see us, talk to us, and know where your money goes matters. We're a small Colombian kitchen on Hoover Avenue in Passaic, and every dish we serve is made with the authentic homemade flavor that makes you feel like you're eating at someone's table back home. Our Bandeja Paisa comes loaded the way it should... with rice, beans, carne, chicharrón, chorizo, egg, arepita, sweet plantains, and avocado. Our empanadas, patacones, and arepas are prepared fresh, our weekend sancocho and mondongo are the kind of dishes that bring families together, and our pan de bono and hot chocolate are worth the trip on their own. As Ortiz N. shared, "I live in Kearny, and I drive 20 minutes just to buy my breakfast there. Everything is truly delicious... the chicken empanadas are very, very good, and the chocolate is unique." We may be a small place, but what comes out of our kitchen is the real thing... authentic Colombian seasoning, generous plates, and the kind of warmth that keeps our regulars coming back week after week. We show up every day because this is more than a job... it's our community. We're grateful to serve the Passaic community.
